Juicing Tips
For the L'Equip juicer

Once you have your L'Equip Juicer put together and the pulp receptacle is up against the back of the Juicer or you have your bag clip attachment on and your bag attached, here are some tips you will find helpful to know:

1. Put a short glass or bowl under the spout in the front of the Juicer to catch your juice. You can also put the Juicer up on a board if you need to get a taller glass under the spout.

2. When you put in your produce, let gravity pull it into the blade/basket for you, then gently push the rest through with the plunger. You will need to use some pressure for hard produce like carrots and almost no pressure with soft produce like strawberries.

3. If you are not happy with the dryness of the pulp, feel free to put it through again or use cheesecloth in the receptacle and squeeze the excess juice out when you are done.

4. When you move the glass or bowl away from the Juicer after you finish juicing, be sure to put a piece of paper towel or empty cup under the spout to catch any drips. Also when you disassemble the Juicer, the spout will pour out any extra juice left in there, so be sure to do it over the sink or on a counter that can easily be wiped up.

5. Pulp does collect under the cover, so be aware as you remove the cover to carefully turn it upside down to remove the extra pulp before washing.

6. Although you can wash all the removable parts in the dishwasher (TOP rack ONLY), we recommend washing it by hand. If you don't have time to wash it right away, just rinse under hot water to avoid the produce sticking to the Juicer parts and making it more difficult to wash later.

7. After washing we store the Plunger in the Pulp Receptacle to air flowing through the reassembled Juicer to be sure of proper drying.

8. We use a STIFF nylon vegetable brush to clean the blade/basket. We put a little soap on it and brush it while running under hot water. It cleans very easily and quickly that way.

9. If you want to juice greens and soft fruits, it is best to put it in a ball or slowly feed it into the juicer letting gravity pull it in and using the Plunger to gently push it completely through.
